This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit yiprocesses.com (the “Website”) and use our contact form. It is provided pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018), and the Italian cookie guidelines (Garante, 10 June 2021).

‍

2) What data we process, why, and on what legal basis

A) Browsing the Website

  • Data: technical data from your device (IP address, cookies/identifiers, pages viewed, timestamps).
  • Purpose: deliver the site, keep it secure, measure basic functionality.
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for strictly necessary/technical cookies; Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for any non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics).

B) “Contact us” form

  • Data: name, email, phone number, message content.
  • Purpose: respond to your inquiry and—because you asked to be contacted—follow up with relevant updates about our products/services and the topic of your inquiry.
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) to handle your request and send related updates. You can object at any time (see Section 8).
We do not sell your data. We do not use contact-form data for unrelated marketing without your prior consent.

3) Where your data comes from

Directly from you via the contact form and automatically from your device when you browse the Website.

‍

4) Who processes your data (recipients)

  • Website platform/host: Webflow, acting as our data processor to provide website hosting and related services.
  • Analytics provider (if enabled by your consent): Google Analytics.

We require our processors to provide appropriate safeguards and process data under binding contracts (Art. 28 GDPR). We do not disclose your contact details to third parties for their own purposes.

5) International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries outside the EEA (e.g., the United States). Where this occurs, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., the EU–US Data Privacy Framework participation where applicable and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures). You can request details via antonio.perini@yiprocesses.com.

6) Retention

  • Contact inquiries: retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction, unless a longer period is needed to manage your request or comply with legal obligations.
  • Cookies/analytics data: per the durations listed in the Cookie Policy (Section 10).
  • We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above.

7) Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks (secure hosting, access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access).

8) Your rights

You may exercise the following at any time (Arts. 15–22 GDPR): access; rectification; erasure; restriction; portability; and objection (especially to processing based on legitimate interest, including follow-up updates). Where processing relies on consent (e.g., analytics cookies), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise rights: antonio.perini@yiprocesses.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

9) Minors

Our Website is intended for business users and not for children under 16. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.

10) Cookie Policy

10.1 What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels) are small files placed on your device to make the site work, keep it secure, and—where you consent—help us understand how it’s used.

10.2 How we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary/technical cookies (always on): enable core functions like page navigation, load balancing, security, and consent storage. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (optional): with your consent, we may use Google Analytics to collect aggregated statistics about visits and interactions, to improve the site. Analytics are configured to avoid using them unless you opt in via the banner/settings.

10.3 Managing your preferences

  • Use our Cookie Settings page at any time to grant/withdraw consent for non-essential cookies.
  • You can also control cookies via your browser settings (blocking, deleting, or receiving prompts). Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.
  • For Google Analytics specifically, you may use Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on in addition to (not instead of) our consent tools.

10.4 Cookies we use (illustrative list)

The exact cookies set may vary over time depending on your selections and site updates. Our consent tool will reflect the current list.

A) Strictly necessary (Webflow / infrastructure) – no consent required

  • wf-csrf (Webflow): session – security/CSRF protection.
  • [webflow_session / similar]: session – site delivery and performance.
  • cookie_consent: up to 12 months – stores your consent choices.

B) Analytics (Google Analytics) – consent required

  • _ga: 2 years – distinguishes users.
  • ga<container-id>: 2 years – session state for GA4.
  • _gid: 24 hours – distinguishes users.
  • _gat or _ga_throttle: 1 minute – request rate limiting.
We do not use analytics unless you actively opt in. IP addresses may be truncated/anonymized where configured; nevertheless, analytics remain non-essential and require your consent under Italian ePrivacy rules.

11) Third-party content

If the Website embeds third-party content (e.g., videos, maps), those providers may set their own cookies. You’ll see these in the Cookie Settings panel and can manage consent there.

12) Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal or technical changes. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
